Part 2 blew part 1 out of the water and then some! I could not stop watching this show and I had to watch all five episodes in one sitting. So am I in or out? Images courtesy of Netflix I didn’t really mind it because the pacing was done really well and it felt like a movie, but there was a lot going on and a lot to paying attention to. This isn’t necessarily a con, but maybe we could have benefited from six episodes to give enough time to everything. Even though this is technically a series, it felt like a movie and I loved every second of it! The Cons: Images courtesy of Netflix I was so excited for some of them and they really emerged with perfect timing to keep us fully invested. There were some really great reveals and twists in part 2. Mark Hamill was fantastic as always and I was so beyond impressed with Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn. There was a lot going on in these episodes, but I appreciated that the dry humor was still present because it really elevated the series and kept it truly fun and entertaining. It was about them embracing who they are, realizing that they still have time to make an impact on their own terms. It wasn’t just about them defeating the great evil. Each character went through an important journey of self-discovery and we even got to learn more about their past, which helped me connect to them even more. I thought that part 2 did an excellent job with this. Is it worthy of your next watch? Let’s find out… The Pros: Images courtesy of Netflix Masters of the Universe: Revelation part 2 doesn’t hold anything back as it continues a familiar plot while creating something new and relevant in the process.
